DH got up the other day and thought he had completely quit drinking water,
in fact I had put water in there to keep him quiet so DH could sleep. we
needed it done so off we went.
when we got there it turns out buddy is a Barbie, and to add insult to
injury the vet was concerned about her belly after feeling around she
decided to shave her belly, and there it was a spay scar, so not only was
this cat, 6 pounds 10 ounces older than we thought, close to two years, she
had been spayed.
after some discussion we decided her name would be Barbie because she is so
petite, and we also decided she might in fact be white instead of cream
colored... she had obviously been out for a long time... I made the comment
that I was really starting to hate people, the tech. says just starting?
she also has a small patch of ringworm on her toes so she has medication for
that, she got the new drops for worms, and we gave her a bath of head and
shoulders, then her ringworm shampoo... never thought I would spend more on
my cat's hair than mine... she is in fact white calico and even prettier
than previously thought... takes her foot medication well if grudgingly and
still wants out with us very. next Saturday another round of 2 baths, then
the revolution, and a week after that back to the vet.
we can't rehome her until the ringworm is cleared up but then we will strive
for a good onetrue home or to the no kill shelter to get her one.

I haven't seen one. Anyway, if you have, I'm sure that we won't mind
seeing it again. At least it isn't religious drivel.

I am honestly sure if I posted it before or not. she is very nice, she
could be Lewis sister or mom for that matter, she has that "stuck on tail"
look like he does except her tail is brown stripes instead of orange, Lee

Poor Barbie. Lucky Barbie to find the Stormie home for homeless
kitties. Purrs and well wishes for Miss Barbie and her rescuers.
Thank you and all of you out there for caring, one cat at a time. It
all adds up. I think between us here, we have over 400 rescued cats,
but I haven't wanted to try to count as the categories are mind
boggling.
