Some people may know Jean's cat, Wilson.
He's been very unlike himself, just hiding under the bed, not responding to
calls or food or anything. he didn't come out this morning, didn't want his
breakfast, just wanted to hide. He's six years old and usually a very
active, happy cat.
Jean has taken him to the vet, but she is absolutley beside herself at the
moment, not knowing whats wrong with him.
If you can spare some purrs for Wilson, and his very upset and worried
Meowmie, I'd appreciate it.

Vicky, please tell Jean that we are sending tons of purrs
and prayers that Wilson is just a little bit off the weather,
and that it's nothing serious. We know she adores that
cat.

Purrs are provide in abundance for Wilson, and Jean. Did the vet do an
xray, and has he been eating, using the litter box as usual? My male cat
Andy had a similar problem last year, and acted the same as described. It
turned out he was severly constipated - the stool was so hard it could be
seen on the xray. Once he was given an enema or two at the local
emergency vets he was ok after a little while. He had never hid like he
did when he has this problem, and I will NEVER forget the look of what I
interpret as FEAR - or at least perhaps knowing/wanting to let go or be
let go of is his eyes. He had a real blowout back then and has been ok
since then.
I hope and pray Wilson is ok, and that everything turns out ok. I just
wamted to point this as an additional possibly.
Good luck to all.

Wilson's home from the vet.
As far as the vet could tell, Wilson is a perfectly healthy cat with nothing
wrong with him (except perhaps a little on the 'fluffy' side) keeping in
mind the slightly elevated heart rate & temp were most likely due ot being
at the vet rather than anything actually being wrong. Good hydration levels,
comfortable bladder, no lumps, bump sor any signs of distress or pain. He's
eating, too.
The vet said to keep an eye on him, but otherwise the whole episode seems it
was one glorious B*st*rd C*t trick.
I'll be having words with the Spirits tonight, I am quite happy for Shmogg
to continue to play b*st*rd c*t tricks on me (Pickle being a willing
participant), but its unfair on Jean.

Whew! I am so happy to hear that Wilson is only playing a b*st*rd c*t
trick and not actually sick or injured. He needs to remember Jean
needs her little orange pal and doesn't need to be frightened like
that. Headbutts from Hobbes, Lacey, Sam and Barnabus with Julie
sending her purrs as well.

Maybe Wilson was/is just in a bad mood. Who else but ones willing
slave should suffer for that? Later in the thread, Suzy & Spicey point
out that he may just be tired of holiday visitors. That is quite
possible. WooToo, when she was my Mom's cat, would hide when people
came over and sulk after they left. The duration of the sulking was a
function of the number of visitors and how long they stayed.
<sticks out tongue at Wilson for being mean to his meowmie>

lol! I'm so glad to hear Wilson is okay. They do sometimes love to

Hmm. Classic signs of a sick kitty! I do hope it is nothing serious!
Purrs on the way.
