Miranda here. Meowmie has bought me a new toy. Or rather, many many
small toys. She calls them pistachios. She cracks them and puts the
boring contents in her mouth so they won't bother me, then she gathers
the toys themselves in a little bowl.
Then I can go and push the bowl to the floor (Meowmie says it's done
from papier-mache, so it doesn't break - which would be a plus, but what
can you do). Then all the little toys scatter around the floor and I
make careful note of how they scatter. I think I can read the future
from the patterns.
At least I know that Meowmie will give me several new bowls full of
these toys, because she never learns. She's given me three bowls full
already, though she grumbles each time she sweeps up the toys that she
will never eat pistachios again.

Marina,
In a few hundred years some archeologist will find the shells embedded in
the walls of your home and conclude it was some kind of religious ritual.

I don't know, she's done it regularly enough lately. It might be some
weird religious ritual. :P Or it's like I suspect, she's trying to
'read' the shells to predict the future.

Your meowmie is taking really good care of you, Miranda.
