I know the feeling. I have even gotten up and gone into the other bedroom
thinking "let them have the bed". Silly me, the next time I wake up, there
are the three cats hogging the space.

The classic sleeping posish around here is me on my side, semi-curled up.
Stinky is in front of me, either by my head, or curled up against my middle.
Dante is curled up behind my knees. So think of an S-curve, with a cat in
each loop. ;)

Your three are so cute. I wish mine could co-exist in bed that well.
Dot usually sleeps between my legs nowadays. Her soft squishy body
sort of fills up that space, so that no matter how I'm positioned, she
looks as snug as a tooth filling. Buster would sometimes like to
sleep with me too, but he's a bit wary of being smacked in the head by
Dot, so will usually come around when he doesn't see her.
Yesterday morning, Dot had moved to the crook of my arm, under the
covers. Buster sometimes likes to get under the covers too, so he
came to investigate to see if there was an opportunity. His stepping
on the bed disturbed Dot, and she came out to investigate. Buster's
eyes went wide as he saw his sisfur magically emerge! He went over to
the covers at the head of the bed and sniffed all around very
carefully to make sure there were no more Dots waiting to come out.
In the meantime, Dot walked by him and went to the foot of the bed on
top of the covers to lay next to my ankles.
Buster finally decided it was safe to investigate under the covers,
and went spelunking, going all the way down the side of my body, down
to my legs. Dot's eyes went wide at the huge bedlump heading her way.
She gingerly stepped where Buster's head was.
Startled, Buster zoomed out from under the covers, and he and Dot
looked at each other, all surprised and wide-eyed.

Cute! Something like this happened recently at my place, too. Smudge
was under the covers, pretty far down. Roxy was sleeping at the foot of
my bed. At some point, she got up and started walking toward my head,
probably to cuddle with me. But on the way, she had to pass the cat lump.
As she stepped near it, it suddenly started growling at her. She looked
very alarmed and decided not to continue on that path. :)

Cats. Instant slapstick. ;)
