STINKY New Year-- He's 17

With the New Year, my darling Stinky turns 17.  He has slowed down somewhat,
is noticeably stiffer, and has lost some body mass, but is still
surprisingly active.  He is still the sweetest cat in the world, but has
become a bit more of a character-he's more directly demanding of attention,
and regularly does perimeter patrols, roaring away at the top of his lungs.
He is much more insistent about getting me up in the morning, reading me the
riot act until I'm in an upright position.  He's also regressed a bit to
second hoolikitten-hood, and is more insistent about collecting sandwich and
burrito taxes, and just about everything else I might be trying to eat.  He
still loves  to sit on pizza boxes, and on his Mommy, and gives concerts on
the piano-with all four paws, not like the more refined Nora. ;)  And he
still is not for taking any guff from younger, nearly-bowling-ball-shaped
critters he has to share the house with.

Aww, Stinky is such a love. Many happy returns, Stinky!

Blessings on Stinky and may he add love to your life many more years.
I never had one to live that long.

Happy Purrday, Stinky!  May your good health continue, Grand Old Man
of RPCA!  And may you continue to show Dante the right way for a cat
to live. =o)

I am glad to hear that Stinky is doing so well. I've had 2 senior
citizen kitties, and I know what it's like to watch them 'slow down'.

Stinky sounds like he's still full of spunk, and has no intention of
just napping his days away, as is often the case.

I hope Stinky is with you, in similar good health, for more New Years to
come.

Happy purrday Stinky and may you have many more. Snoopy will be 18 in March
and she still rules the house with an iron paw.

WooToo is slowing down too but she and I send Stinky new year wishes
to the boy himself, all of his family and friends and fans.
