Good for the most part. The good news is that Princess and Furby are
becoming part of the family much faster than expected. Watching them
interact with the older cats you can see that sometimes everyone
forgets they're not supposed to like each. Sammy and Spotty will
actually play with the new ones for a while, then remember they're not
supposed to like the new kids, hiss and stalk off. Unfortunately,
Princess and Furby haven't figured out that Little Bit does not like
to play much. In fact, the only one LB ever plays with is Sammy, and
she does not appreciate the new girls invitations to wrestle or play
tag. In that regard LB treats them pretty much the same as she still
treats Spotty.

As Princess is gaining confidence, she no longer automatically backs
down when the older cats hiss at her. This isn't really a bad thing, I
think she needs to find her place, but it is leading to more hissing.
No fighting, though, thank goodness. There's really only two things
the new kitties are doing I'd like them to stop. Princess is still
gobbling down all the food she can, as fast as she can. Can't really
blame her, I think she'll ease off as she realizes she has a steady
supply.

The other thing I'd like to see stop is Furby's fascination with the
litterbox. As soon as she hears anyone scratching around she runs to
check things out, and she's not above trying to climb in with who ever
is in the box at the time. None of the older cats, including Princess,
appreciate this. I'm hoping she'll learn this is unacceptable soon,
since it earns her a swat from everyone.
