Warmest wishes for good times during all your holidays and during the
New Year
which will be here in a few days. It is not warm by anybody's opinion
here in
MileHigh - went to a relative's ten miles closer to the Rockies and
snow in their
yard was up to my *knees* - that was a new whoop for this former
Miamian, who
discovered the way to get *unstuck* (if it's that deep it's like
quicksand, kinda) is
simply to pull your foot up sharp, mess and all...the natives here got
their wish:
it was for sure a *White* Christmas, LOL.
Though the neighbors' cats were seen outside briefly, mine are very
happy
just watching it float down from the window sills. Me too.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Driving has been miserable, but we skied Vail Christmas day in
beautiful powder ... yum yum yum ...

I attempted (dead-on correct word) skiing during the 7 years we lived
in Bay Area, CA (not far from Joyce) in mistken belief that being a
killer waterskier would be a plus on the slopes of the Sierras..ROFL
i will never snowski in this lifetime, so you have some idea how I
admire you for being able to! So glad Oscar seems to be on road
to recovery and not to the Bridge.
If you wanna see something bizarrely funny (maybe you already have)
put in "charlie the unicorn" on YouTube. All our friends are imitating
the voices...hard to resist doing so.

I've never even tried waterskiing, so you're one up on me!

I got home yesterday and found that a neighbor had used their
snowblower to clear out all the driveways on our circle (five houses).
What a relief!  Not that it's that much snow, but I hate shoveling in
the dark and it's awfully cold out.

Speaking of cold, I recently ordered a pair of LL Bean flannel-lined
jeans.  I highly recommend them.  It's like walking around in
comfy-warm PJs all day.

Elevation here is about 4000 very cold feet.  We have had four big snow
storms, each leaving 8 - 10 inches in the valley.  The mountains  have
lots of snow and avalanche danger is high -- already claimed two.  TuTu
just sleeps all day.  She gets up, looks out, then goes back to bed.
"If winter comes, can spring be far behind?"   Happy New Year to all.

That sounds way more sensible to me. :)

I'm really late with this as I'm trying to catch up, but Happy New Year

Best wishes,
