Cat Forum / Cat Anecdotes / January 2008Oh dear. ;o)
I have just been to the pet store to buy some enzyme spray as someone (probably HRFL) has been spraying in the lounge again. I *planned* to pay £3.99 for the bottle of enzyme cleaner, buy nothing else, and leave with my money in my wallet. However, I made the mistake of taking Cara with me to the petstore.... I got home, having spent considerably more than £3.99. I managed to buy a 1kg bag of Bonio dog biscuits, a bag of squeaky tennis balls, a quacking duck soft plush dog toy, a new china dog bowl, a cod liver oil vitamin dog suplement, a new dog leash and a bag of dog treats. I forgot to buy the d*mn enzyme cleaner!! So now, I have to go and buy it tomorrow. I'm not taking Cara with me. I did once go on a course with someone who said "I'm a bit impulsive- I once went out on a Sunday to get the papers and some milk and on the way back from the shop I brought a house" I sort of did that once. We lived in an apartment in Alaska that had the most hideous bathroom. Pink fixtures and dark turquoise walls. Finally we just couldn't take it anymore and started to repaint in a light pink. Shortly after Charlie started to paint, I took the dog out for a walk and found a really nice mew condo going up a few blocks away. And arranged a move in date. After I got home and told Charlie, it still took three coats of paint to cover the turquoise. We really did love the condo though.
