Looks like you are getting a new furball, maybe you are keeping the furballs
stuff around to remind you of the time you had  or you fired the maid ;-)

I went to the adoption center just about an hour ago.  I will assume my
adoption will be given the OK and tell you all the place is called Last
Hope.  I met a couple of brothers there who I expect will be brought here
tomorrow by their foster.  I can tell you that they will be named Lyle
and Frank but I wont say which is which just yet.  A very dear friend
named Lyle was killed in a traffic accident about a week ago so I will
give one of my new guys his name.

I took some pictures at the adoption center:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/22213539@N03/sets/72157603562393887/

I have only ever had one cat at a time in my home up until now!  Let the
fun begin!  I guess it is time to stock up on spare parts and super-glue!

We know.  When I get a vacancy I will wait for a cat to appear.  They both
did..without being asked ;-)
There is not a stray cat problem where I live but occasionally there is one
whose owners move away without them (like KFC) and one who has no idea where
he came from and is totally lost (like Boyfriend.)  I will wait for one of
these sort of cats to come along if I want another.

What handsome stripey guys!

You'll love having more than one at a time. So will they. It looks like
they're already buddies, so they ought to be a great addition to your
family.

They were in the same large cage and they seem very laid back for 11 month
old cats.  They played with each other when they were taken out and even
did a little zooming for a  bit.  I was able to hold one of them who did
not seem to mind much but then I could see he was eyeing his brother and as
soon as I let him down he played with his brother.  I like that they will
have company while I am at work (I live alone) but I expect they will wreak
a little havoc now and then!

Concatulations, Andy.  They're beautiful and look like fun.  Make sure
that you have plenty of jingle balls, cat dancers, and other toys,
Two cats is twice the fun of one cat,

Thanks, I hope they do really well.  I was told they were at the shelter
all their lives.  I don't know how that jives with them having a foster
person who I am waiting to here from but I guess either way they have not
had a home of their own.

I always have duct tape.  It saved the astronauts and it saved me a few
times.  My co-workers laugh at me about by reverence toward duct tape
(true).

Here in Finland, some people call duct tape 'Jesus tape.' :)

Ooooh! There's a Caliban-cat! And the other one has gorgeous marbled
colouring. Congratulations on becoming a Paw-Paw again! They look like
they know how to have fun (and wreak havoc).

Andy, I'm sorry about your friend Lyle who died in the traffic
accident, but I'm happy to hear you're about to be owned, again!
Concatulations, slave!  We'll want updates as soon as the guys are
confident enough to be photographed.  And even before!

Nina and Francesca approve, you'll be glad to know. =o) Your future
owners rather resemble MY owners, except with regards to gender. Two
tabbies, one classic (Francesca) and one more mackeral (Nina). How
exciting! And good for you to adopt the brothers together.

Are congrats in order?

They _could_ be getting two.  I thought they would come today but I did not
hear anything last night so I am not sure.
