Bobby 2003-2007

My Bobby died about 8:30 am - the vet said he survived the night, but
when they took him out of his cage to do some checking, he arrested,
and they couldn't revive him. :'(

This is the 4th cat I have lost this year, and all young. Katie was
the oldest at 7, the rest 5 or under. The vet is wondering if a virus
is causing the kidney problems. I will have to be more vigilant about
their health - if anyone looks a bit off, they will go to the vet
asap.

This year has s**ked.

I am so very, very sorry that your Bobby-Cat has to the Bridge.

Truly, I don't know how I could stand losing four cats; all of them
young. And all in one year. It's just as terrible as things can be.

I have only lost two cats in my whole life, (and they lived long lives),
but they left great terrible holes in my heart that never never, ever
healed.

I have lit a candle for Bobby, to help light his way to the Bridge. I
have a very special glass candle holder in the shape of a sleeping
kitty, curled around the candle.

What a terrible day for you. My heart goes out for this, and your many
other losses. It's more than any one person should have to bear, in such
a short time. A horrible year. That hardly says it.

I am so very sorry! I'm so very sad for you. Could there be a plant or
substance around that they are eating that is causing this?

heartbreaking.

This year has indeed sucked, at least for us here in hte mortal plane.
Although it seems 2007 is turning out to be on eof hte best years at Rainbow
Bridge - so so many friends have gone there this year.

I'm so sorry. It's awful to lose beloveds one after the other in the same
year, it happened to me, but at least my consolation was that were elderly.
There's no possibility that your cats had any of that contaminated food, is
there?
It seems very unusual to lose 4 cats under 7 years old to kidney problems in
the space of a year.  I am no vet or scientist but I would think it is
almost unheard of unless something (as yet unknown to you) is causing it.
The question is how do you find out what is causing it?  Something is (or
did or will..)
My heart goes out to you for so many losses.

I am so very sorry, Mishi. That must be heart-wrenching. I lost my two
old friends during the one year 2005, but at least they had had pretty
long and full lives. Our sincerest condolences and most soothing purrs.

I'm so sorry, Mishi. Bobby and the rest were far too young to go!  I
agree, that definitely sucks.  May 2008 be a  year of abundant good
