Hi all:

My spidey sense is up tonight.  Can't find Chester and I'm worried sick.
Any "get home Chester" purrs would be greatly appreciated - I would
like his furry butt home ASAP.

I know you're shocked its not Otis ;-)

Thanks,

Susan M

Get home vibes on the way.

All cats that can get out do this once in a while, I think just to keep us
humble.

Enough Chester, it's nearly Christmas Eve.

What a copycat! Maybe he just wants a bit of the international attention
that usually goes to Otis. :)

C'mon now, Chester - get home and stop worrying your humans!!

Oh Susan, you must be beside yourself.  Strongest possible furry-butt-home
purrs.

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

I popped out for about 45 minutes and, before I left, stood calling and
whistling like crazy for Chester.  When I came home, he was in the house
and I think that the tilers who were in the basement let him in when
they left.  They knew to look for him.

Thank goodness.  You know, the days have a certain rhythm around here
and I'm usually home much of the time.  I think that I have become used
to the schedule of the cats subconsciously and, when they deviate from
it, it's really worrying.

I was out much of the day today and the tilers were in and out so it
wasn't the same for Chester.  I think he ran out and, when I wasn't
there to offer the same come-home snack at lunch, he didn't come in.

Anyway, thank you again.  What a relief.

Otis bit Chester on the neck after I hugged him.  Little monster.

While everyone else was beaming out "go home Chester"  _I_ was beaming
out "Chester you're hungry"  I figured that would work better.  Guess we
will never know which one worked.  :)

Cats are very much creatures of habit, except of course for when they
aren't.

I'm glad I scrolled down to see your update. So glad Chester is home.
Very weird to see your heading and realize it wasn't Otis who had gone
missing. ;)

Glad that Chester got hom ok. Otis was punishing Chester for doing
what Otis usually does, worry you.

Whew Susan I am so glad that Chester has managed to turn up at home.
What a terrible fright you must have had.  At least with Otis you know
he'll find his way home or find someone who can bring him home.
Chester hasn't had as much experience on the lam as Otis has. So happy
he's home.
