He is a big boy and very pretty. He has quite a history at 2 1/2 years
old. Already was a father!
He is now neutered. Born June 2005.
He is just hiding from me now and pics are not good because I can't
get close. Bobby is afraid of him and is hiding under the bed.
This cat had an eyelift on his left eye. He had a condition where the
eyelashes grew under and the vet corrected. So his left eye is
slightly off.
Can't decide on any names. He is a snuggle bunny. I held him at the
foster mom's for awhile and he just really was close. But at home
here, he is hiding. I'll give him time. I have off all next week so we
have lots of time to get to know each other. Bobby too.

He's so cute! Very pretty. Love the tail sticking out from behind the
pillow.

I'm sure he will in time. Right now he has been hiding under the bed
for hours. I hope he is not sulking about Casey or his place in this
house.

He is a handsome cat but feels a little insecure right now. Give it time
. Best wishes. MLB

Purrs that he relaxes soon and realises how lucky he is to have a new
foreverhome.

He's lovely. Looks like he'll be a good snuggler when he's more used
to you! Give him time, and give him a little space. One method I've
found works well with a shy cat is to go into the room where they are,
sit down on the floor and wait. Talk to the cat in a soft reassuring
voice. They'll often come out when you show them you're calm, you're
not a threat, and you're willing to let him come over to you when he's
ready.

He - Brammy - has been something these last few days. He was
originally named "Bramble" by his foster mom because you look like you
were in Brambles after trying to pet him. He was never socialized as
a kitten or ever in his 2 1/2 years of life. He is scared of me. The
first night he somehow got into the fireplace and is now a gray sooty
cat.
I found little black paw prints all over everything the next morning.
I made a mistake and picked him up and wanted to wipe some of the soot
off of him and he bit me and scratched me badly.
My mistake. Should never had tried that. He needs a bathing though
and his claws need clipped something terrible.
I totally ignored him after that and last night he came out from under
the bed and came within 5 feet of me in the living room for a few
seconds. He continued to explore and eat at night. Using the litter
box and scratching post. He is a big boy and very muscular. He
knocks everything over and is *not catlike* in walking around. He is
so big he is knocking everything over. I have a floor sisal rope
board for a scratching post. He uses it so hard he drags it around the
floor.
This morning he was out from under the bed. He called out and Bobby
came running. The 2 of them were playing chase for a couples hours
and it made me happy because I wanted a companion for Bobby after
all. He lost his brother only 4 weeks ago and has been lonely.
I hope this works out.

That sounds wonderful! I'm so happy for Bobby. Maybe in time, Bobby will
show Brammy that he doesn't have to be afraid of you.

It has worked out just fine- Bobby's obviously accepted him and is
much happier with a companion
You now have to work on socialising him (Bobby will help by showing
him that he can get skritchies and other nice things from you) with
you but he's obviously happy to be socialised with Bobby

better, soon I hope. Keep us posted.
