Caliban the clown strikes again. I'm still wiping my eyes from laughing
so hard. This is probably one of those things that you had to be there
to appreciate, but I'll try to describe it anyway.

I was cutting up meat for the cats' supper and Caliban was hovering
around as usual, sticking his nose and paws in front of the knife and I
was pushing him away with one arm while trying to cut with the other
hand. When I finished cutting it up, I gathered the pieces in my hands
to transfer them to his bowl on the floor. Caliban was jumping around on
the counter, all eager and crazy as he always is at feeding time. Then
he took a flying start - too flying, because he pushed off too hard and
screeched far past the food bowl as his claws were grappling on the
laminate trying to brake. Then he ran a few steps in place before he
managed to turn and get back to his food bowl. ROFL!

I swear, it's like living with a cartoon character.

ROTFL What a pity you couldn't get a video of that. :-)

That's great - wish I could have seen that! There is entirely too
much carpet in my apartment, so I don't get that sort of entertainment
in my place too often (though Licky sometimes slides around in the
kitchen if I throw a ball from the other room).

Exactly. I even dreamed about this, and I remember laughing in my sleep. :P
