Last night we were under severe thunderstorm warnings.
Bucky was lying by my head and Little Boy was under the covers,
against my chest. Dulcie Mae was on the dresser - on my side of the
bed. I think Little Feet was at my feet.
All of a sudden, I see flashes of lightening, followed by big loud
thunder booms. Little Boy scrambles out from the covers and jumps on
top Senyah. Little Feet runs to Senyah's pillow and lies down
nose-to-nose with Senyah (who is asleep through all this, mind you).
Bucky gets in between us, atop the blankets, but cuddles up to Senyah.
Dulcie Mae stays where she is, but turns around to face me.
Now I can understand why Bucky and Little Boy turn to Senyah for
protection, since I'm usually the one who has to put them outside in
the morning so that management can't say they are inside during the
day, but Little Feet is a traitor (big grin).
Actually, Little Feet is very possessive of both of us, so this is not
really strange. I just thought it was funny that three of four turned
to Senyah when the scary storms came through.
Sigh... I still have my sexy furry girlfriend (big grin)...
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark
