Molly, our little big eared, long tailed calico girl has been with us a
little over three years now. Her progress in warming up to us, or to anyone
has been glacerially slow. But progress it is.
Seems over the last few weeks it has dawned on her that her feet get cold
when she spends hours out. And that wild as she may be, she really doesn't
appreciate cold feet.
Several times in the past few weeks she has come up on my lap for petting
and ear scritches. Last week for quite a long time.
Last night when she'd had her fill of pettins and scritching, she walked
around and tested lying down on top of me. After a few adjustments she
curled up and went to sleep.
Even Jake doesn't do that.
I've finally got me a cat!

Snoopy says hoomin tummies are just the thing for warming cold feet.

Molly is, dare I even say it, laying on the computer desk watching me work.

Aww, I'm so happy for you! MNiranda does that every evening.
The cold feet reminded me of my sister's RB cat, Mathilda (Frank's
sister). She would insist on siting by a cracked-open window in the
middle of winter to sniff the air outside, but then she would suddenly
find that her ears were freezing, and she'd rush over to my sister and
burrow her head into sis's bosom to get warm again. ;)
