My second cousin is 3 months pregnant and found out the baby has major
medical problems. If it is carried to term the baby might live a day or 2.
She going into the hospital Friday and the doctor is going to end the
pregnancy.

Any purrs would be appreciated for my cousin. She wanted to have children so
bad and got pregnant soon after she was married. As I understand right now
they should be able to try again when they are ready. The medical problems
with the baby is about 1 in a million births.

Lots of purrs, what a horrible thing to happen.

But be thankful you live in a country where abortion is
(still) legal!  This is a good example of why it should
remain so, even though some misguided people may look upon
it as a form of after-the-fact "birth control".

Purrs are on the way.  That must be harder to go through than the
miscarriages I had many years ago.

Oh I'm so sorry. Something like this happened to my hairdresser with
her first baby. She carried to term and the baby lived 1 day. SHe knew
this would happen from early on. Happily, she now has two fine boys.
((((((hugs)))))) Major purrs for your cousin.

The same thing happened last year to my granddaughter.  Now she is
"anticipating"again and we are praying for a safe delivery for our

Purrs and prayers that your cousin comes through the procedure
relatively unscathed. Hope she and her husband have a lot of
loved babies soon.
