They've been in the closet since March....

The committee approved wholeheartedly of their appearance last year.

They will gladly welcome them back.

It's time for.......

THE FLANNEL SHEETS!!!!!

I have a sneaky suspicion that I will be 'helped' and everything will
be thoroughly 'inspected'

Will take pics.....

Jake and Molly remain true to form as the cats that they are.  Which is to
say I never know what to expect from them next.

Two years ago I bought a nice down comforter.  Jake acted like he was afraid
of it.  Would creep into our room and up past the scary comforter to jump up
on the pillows.  Or even sleep in the living room to avoid it.

This year it is finally cold enough to get out the comforter.  Charlie
objected because he doesn't want to upset Jake.  We had a discussion over
Jakes comfort vs mine and just who's bed it really is.  (I really like my
comforter and the cooler nights)

At the moment Jake is happily snoozing away on the (formerly scary)
comforter.

Mmm down.  We can't have down because DH is very allergic.  Instead we
have Primaloft, which is I guess fake down.

The comforter material is heavy enough to make a crinkly sound when we
move, or when Oscar jumps on the bed.  With our new mattress, that's
the only way we can tell she's jumped up.

No flannel sheets have I, but I have brought out the flannel nightie.
It may also be time for the second comforter. Nina loves to sleep
under the covers with me. Or sometimes, she just uses it like a kitty
sauna for a quick warmup.

I got a giggle out of the image of Jake slinking past the (ooooh, *scary*)
comforter. :) And Charlie is quite the slave - I didn't realize quite how
much!

Naturally Jake has gotten over his phobia of the comforter, and
probably looks at Charlie as though he's crazy for suggesting he ever
felt that way. :)

LOL

We finally put the electric blanket on this weekend, under the
comforter.  Dual-zone, mmmm.  DH didn't bother to plug his side in;
mine is cranked to the max.

Also nice to warm the bed up for quick naps.

Hard to tell if Oscar is impressed, but it may be she's sleeping next
to me more often than usual.

Speaking of bed clothes, only one of the three cats I had has figured
out how to climb under the covers. That was my beloved Lucky (RB) She
would burrow under the 6 blankets I use in the winter, plus a cheap
polyester comforter.

Blizzard (RB) just wasn't bright enough.

Kenzie will never, ever, get up on the bed, couch, or anything but 'her'
chair, unless I'm there first. She still requires some coaxing to get
her to jump up on the bed, though she often sleeps there with me.

It's a pity, because when I would find Lucky under the covers, when I
would come home and my house would be at 55F, she was always really,
really warm.

That's when I had to get Blizzard an electrically heated bed.

Kenzie spends most of her time there, in the winter.

Dot says that flannel sheets are right up there with her plush
bathrobe (which she seems to think is her beau right now).

Mhhh - I love flannel sheets, and my cats too.
It`s rather warm here for December  (nights 4 degree celsius, day
about 8 degree)
but I`ve got those sheets out too.
