I got an update on Phoenix yesterday. The antibiotics are kicking in
and his infection
is doing better. They are still soaking and cleaning his poor leg
several times a day.
The vet is feeling confident that they can save his leg, but still
unsure how useful
or painful it will be. Right now we are working toward trying to save
it and hoping for
the best. I will be meeting Phoenix tomorrow evening at the vet
office. I'll see his
leg for myself (I'm not looking forward to that part) and talk to the
vet about expectations
and when he might be released to come and stay with me.
Please keep the purrs and healing thoughts coming! Thank you so much.

Purrs greatly appreciated. I'll update when I hear more
on his condition. I was going to meet with the vet and
see Phoenix tonight, but the vet had to reschedule.
We are now set up for Thur evening.
