As promised, since I don't have money to send a card to everyone on
this list this year, I offer up the following set of feline themed
books. Here's the rules:
1. When you are done reading a book, make a post on the list to offer
it to the next person who wants to read it.
2. Sign the inside so people will know who's already read what!
3. You are responsible for paying the shipping to the next reader.
I will be shipping out books on Thursday. Right now I only have money
to ship two books outside of North America, so please no more than two
overseas requests
Smokey wants to say: ,km. Helpful boy!
One book per person, and first come, first served...so if you'd like
one, post here with the name you used on the Card List and which book
you'd like.
1. Just Call Me Ernie -- picture book about a real-life cat in my
current hometown.
2. The Cat from Kosovo -- picture book, but quite a bit of story in
this one, more of a short story with illustrations. Content suitable
for children, but does contain themes of war and hardship.
3. The Enchanted Cat -- Feline legends, lore, superstitions,
meditations and charms. Wiccan/Pagan themed -- accessible enough that
you don't have to be Wiccan/Pagan to enjoy it, but not recommended for
those whose religious beliefs object to reading material from other
fatihs.
Fear Familiar series - romantic suspense stories starring a cat asthe
detective! I do not think these are very sexually explicit, but as I
bought a big bag of them (These are my doubles) I haven't read every
title yet. Might be more geared towards female list readers. Titles:
4. Familiar Christmas - holiday story
5. Bewitching Familiar - time-travel story (Salem witch trials)
6. Familiar Mirage - sheikh story
7. Familiar Double
8. Familiar Escape
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Fil, I'd like any of the "Familiar" books - do you have to read any of the
particular titles first (are they sequels or stand-alones.

IMHO the "Familiar" books are mostly stand-alone--they occasionally
make casual reference to past events but each is a self contained
story with a new heroine and hero. I don't even have the complete
set.
So feel free to pick any one ;)

OK, thanks! Since it's Christmas I'll choose "Familiar Christmas"! ;>

What a wonderful idea sending out books for all to enjoy and pass on. I
would love to read The enchanted cat.

I would like that one, too. Do you think you could send it to me after
you've read it, Ann? I'll understand if you don't want to pay the
postage to Europe. :)

Marina, I'll let you know when I'm ready to pass the book on. Were you on
the Christmas card list?

Sounds great! I've found all your addresses here.
We still have Cat from Kosovo and 4 Familiar books up for grabs.

I'm interested in Cat from Kosovo. I didn't see any other European
posters on this thread yet. My address is on Da List.

4 Familiar books, and a slot for one more out-of-North America
reader....

That's OK. I thought maybe it was the Christmas spirit affecting your
spelling. :)

Thank you. I received The Enchanted Cat today. I haven't had time to look at
it yet. DH and I bought 2 new wall units for ourselves for Christmas and
they were delivered today. I hope I have time tonight to start reading it.
