I got up at 6:30 this morning to go to the bathroom and Shadow was sitting
in the hall by the kitchen door, the catflap is in the kitchen. He went out
when he saw me but he didn't rush. I wonder how many times he's been in, I'm
sure I've heard the flap sometimes in the night.

One of these nights he will find the bed, and then its all over.

I think Snoopy would really object if that happens, she growls at Baggy if
he gets between her and me.

If you want him as an inside cat now you have to feed him one of his meals
inside.  Then eventually both.  This is what I did to get Boyfie in. Once he
ventured inside the house I stopped feeding him outside in a few days.  I
made him eat just inside with the option to escape and gradually moved his
food further into the house.
I don't know if you want the S-boy as a permanent resident, though.

I thought about feeding him inside but I'm not going to rush things. One
problem is both Baggy and Snoopy are on diets so thay would have to be
watched carefully or they'd steel Shadow's food, they already try this when
he's fed in the summer house.

Ah. Not such a good idea of mine then. It depends on whether you are home
most of the time or not to control the food.
It's great that Shadow is coming into the house, anyway.  He will avoid the
cold if he sneaks in overnight and sneaks out before you get up.
I think this is his plan ;-)
