Being in college this year, and DH making too much $$$ for me to qualify for
financial aid (thus tuition & books come out of our budget!), plus the fact
that I splurged on stamps (photostamps.com), I have had to buy el-cheapo
cards at the dollar store - none to be found with any animals on them except
dogs (or forest critters), so I got generic holiday ones - but while there I
found a bin full of character whole-punches (the kind that scrap-bookers
use).  Dug through and found a cat-shaped one!  I am currently punching the
flaps of the envelopes so that the card will show through - and am saving
the confetti - a few lucky people will get an extra prezzie with their card
:)
