For 13 years Nikki has been sleeping on my right side (Chessie is always firmly ensconced on my left side and gets very huffy if Nikki tries to butt in). Nikki sleeps with her head pointed toward the side of the bed tho she places her rump or backbone up against me. This morning she scrooched up against me, her eyes looking into mine and resting her head on my arm.....one of those heart-melting moments! Both my guys are very accomplished at it. ;) My Courtney's been doing that for a couple of days. I'm spending most of the time in bed with a cold, she's wrenched a ligament in her hip, so she curls up next to me and Splodge and purrs. I slept very poorly last night but, good slave that I am, when she started tapping on me around 6AM I got up and fed her. Then I went back to bed and finally got some sound sleep for two hours. When I woke up, Persia was meatloafing next to me, gazing into my eyes as they opened :) I love moments like that! Jill
