Tessie the Horror strikes again... and again!

Tessie is being a real little horror this week...

She destroyed my mini-christmas tree so I had to take it down and put
the decorations away, even though I had it up so high I was SURE it
was 'safe' from her. First she jumped up on the entertainment unit and
knocked it over... so I put it up on the bookshelf. Later that night I
was in the bedroom and I heard a crash... going out to the livingroom,
Tessie was crouched under the bench saying 'it wasn't me!' and the
tree was on its side on the floor... yes I believe you Tessie, I'm
sure the tree jumped off the shelf all by itself - NOT!

She jumped up on the counter while my back was turned and stole an
once of cooked turkey burger (HALF of what I had left over for my
lunch!) I hadn't even abandoned it... I dished up our lunch and took
the plate off to John, and when I came back to the kitchen five
minutes later, Silver was on the floor eating the burger and Tessie
was running away saying 'it wasn't me, honest!' Yeah, sure... I really
believe that Silver would have that much initiative! I'm sure the only
reason that SILVER was the one caught, was that Tessie heard me coming
and took off, but Silver was too busy feeding her face!

She chased Scouty all around the apartment last night. She does that
all the time and it doesn't usually mean much, but this time she was
positively vicious! I don't normally interfere when they chase each
other because Tessie richly needs a few swats on the rear from Scouty,
but this time Tessie wasn't taking 'no' for an answer. Scouty couldn't
get away from her because she followed her everywhere, and she
wouldn't stop no matter how much Scouty hissed and growled. She didn't
let up until I got the spray bottle, then she bolted for the
livingroom and tried to hide. I got her though, and she richly
deserved it!

She's half-chewed-up my Christmas Holly arrangement in one week and
left pieces all over the floor every morning... at least it was a)fake
and b)pretty cheap.

And SOMEBODY jumped up on the table last night and viciously attacked
two of the poor innocent Christmas Snowman placemats. Somebody with
two very long, very sharp fangs... I know, because I can see twin
little pointed marks at the point where they sank into the edge of the
foam and ripped outwards. John tried to suggest that we must have had
a mouse inside, but I know the truth - and it's eight pounds of
destructiveness robed in black velvet. We all know who's the
inveterate destroyer-of-cardboard. For some weird reason she just
LOVES to sink her teeth into something and pull chunks off it. Now I'm
going to have to buy a new set and hope she doesn't destroy THEM too
:( (I didn't want fabric ones because they get messed up when you eat,
and vinyl is wipeable... but I certainly didn't bargain on a
tooth-attack before we even used them this year!)

You should get a video of Tessie's antics, you may even make some money from
it. ;o)

You could set it to a catchy little song, and become a YouTube phenomenon.
;)

Tessie needs to meet Bosley! They'd make a pair. Bosley has been in
trouble SOLID for a week. I blame this on the weather turning cold,
but it's
not like he ever goes outside or anything...I told DH you can really
compare
him to a mean little kid. Doing things for attention, even if it's
negative
attention!

Wow Karen you have your hands full with Tessie!  Today I found a new
greeting card site on line, and one of the cards made me think of your

Hopefully she has been better behaved the past couple of days and is not
teaching Silver and Scouty any of her tricks!

LOL! That's just SO appropriate... except the cat should be black with
golden eyes instead of ginger :P
I honestly don't know what's gotten into her this week - she's always
been norty, but never quite so destructive as this!

~Kajikit, using googlegroups because the Albasani newsserver seems to
be broken. :(
