I was in one of the Dollar Stores this week, and they had a good price
on the votive candle I burn for the RB kitties.

I bought a *lot* of them, as I have used so may recently, and I only had
two left.

I just hate looking at all of the candles, thinking that each one will
represent some ones beautiful, cherished kitty who will have gone to the
Bridge :-(

Remember they would go with or without you.  It is special to light their
way.

But, you might think otherwise, too -- that in lighting your candles you're
paying a tribute to these special little souls and the light they brought
into our lives.

I like to think of it a different way.  The candles, to me, represent
all the tremendous love and light that each caring person felt and
received from a wonderful, beloved cat.  The light and love always go on.

No matter how you say it, when  you are hurting at the loss of loved ones,
it did help to know someone else cared enough to do something special.
Thank you.
