The other day Paw took out the carrier, dusted it off, and hauled Mama
Little Bit away. She was back in just a little while - smelling of
TED. Mama says TED stabbed her a couple times, and said she had to
come back in Feb to get a bad tooth taken care of. That means both
Spot and Mama will be going to TED to get tooth problems taken care of
- Spotty for a cleaning and Mama will probably lose a tooth.

That's the old news, the new news is that somebody's been in the
bat-room for the past couple days. One night when Paw wwent to work he
took along the carrier. Ever since he came home the bat-room door has
been closed. Sometimes the bedroom door is closed, too, and Moma has
been hissing at everyone, saying there's a strange cat in the
apartment.

Hoomin note - Yep, Princess, the stray who has been hanging around the
store is here waiting to be vetted. Once the vet gives her a clean
bill of health it will be off to the non-profit animal birth control
clinic for spaying. Unfortunately, her kitten Furby isn't here. He/she
was killed in the parking lot before I managed to trap her. I'm
posting pics of her over in the binary group

Purrs for Princess to have a clean bill of health. I just saw her pictures
in ABPA, very cute.

Purrs for poor Princess's loss, and for Furby's crossing.  You didn't say
whether you are going to keep her.  Big purrs for a great home for Princess.

Now that she's inside I'm seeing WAY too sweet a cat to be sent off to
become a barn cat. When she was outside at the store she would let you
pick her up, but within seconds she was fighting to get down and run
away. Since she's be here, even though it's locked away in solitary in
the bathroom, it's like she's a different cat. She enjoys being picked
up and petted, and has a nice loud purr which she isn't shy about
voicing. Whether or not she remains with me will depend on how well
she is accepted by the resident cats. So far Sammy is pretty much
curious, but seems unconcerned. Spotty ignores the noises from the
bathroom. Little Bit hates the smell of a stranger in the apartment
and is hissing at everyone. That is pretty much the history of past
introductions, though. LB hated it when both Rocky and Spot came
inside, after a month or so she tolerated them, and now she and Spot
occasionally do a little mutual grooming.

Just in the short time Princess has been here I'm starting to fall for
her sweet personality. I'm hoping that by the time Princess is vetted
and recovered from her spay LB will be ready for an intro without
threatening bloodshed.

Is she as teeny as she looks?

yep, she's a real petite little girl. I wouldn't say she's skinny,
especially compared to how thin Little Bit and Spotty were when I
adopted them, but she could stand to gain a little weight. She has her
appointment later today with TED, so I'm asking for purrs for a clean
bill of health.

Aww, I'm so glad you're thinking of keeping her. She couldn't get a
better home.
