No, he's not: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Diamond_Philips
Martin Sheen's sons are Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen.

Well, Martin Sheen has a *lot* of kids, more than just Charlie and Emilio.
Maybe Lou Diamond Philips sneaked in when nobody was looking. ;)

Hehheh.... I was wrong but hey, could have been right. Who would have
figured Emelio? Anyway, Charlie is the only one who looks like Martin.

The other guy from "Young Guns", Emilio Estevez (played Billy "the kid"
Bonney), is. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000389/ Esteves is Martin (and
Charlie) Sheen's REAL last name.

Hi from MileHigh, Jill. The movie, although inaccurate, is one of my
faves. I don't
care whose son he was, LOL. I was young and cried for weeks after the
plane
went down that night. 'La Bamba' is one of my ringbacks now and I
still sing
along with it - in Spanish, being an honorary Hispanic but not by
ethnic origin.
Don't forget; also on board that plane were Buddy Holly and the Big
Bopper.
Richie did not go to the Bridge alone.

True. There's actually one part of the film that's accurate. The coin
toss. If Ritchie hadn't won that toss he wouldn't have gotten on the plane;
it would have been Tommy Allsup instead. There's a YouTube video where
Tommy talks about the coin toss that literally saved his life.
