Everything a Scot says sounds funny to me.  They have a Scottish
mathematician that they often speak to on NPR about mathematical matters,
and I rarely understand what he's talking about, but his accent always gives
me a giggle.  BTW, my name is Muir, about as Scottish as it gets. ;)

I think Scottish accents are beautiful. Irish, too, but I hear Scottish
more often. Before I ever heard a real Scottish person talk, the only
"Scottish" accent I'd ever heard was "Scotty" on Star Trek, LOL. The real
thing sounds completely different!
