It seems my recent post on Harri Roadcat's adjustment to life as a
housecat prompted her to relive some of her past adventures.

Yesterday evening Nancy was in the kitchen doing her holiday baking, I was
in the living room relaxing, and the kitties were spread about the house
and the back yard doing kitty things. Harri and Ranger had been zooming in
and out for a while when Nancy called me into the kitchen.

When I entered the kitchen Nancy as staring at spot on the floor and
Harri was sitting proudly beside her. She pointed to a small furry object
on the floor and asked what it was. I examined it closely and determined
that it was a mole. I've never actually seen on before, I've just seen
photos. But our little Roadcat huntress managed to find one, catch it, and
kill it, then brought it in and laid it at Nancy's feet.

Nancy is truly an excellent catslave. While I dealt with the tiny corpse
she got out a can of Harri's favorite gooshy food and dished it out while
praising Harri on her hunting skills. Harri had quite a smug look on her
face for the rest of the evening.

Is there nothing that little girl can't do?  ;)

Well done Roadcat - our local sports club would like to hire you to control
the inroads being made into their soccer pitch.

I always love it when a master can swagger around for a few hours proud of
their hunting achievements (mine do it too).

You realize you just handed her the formula for getting an
extra meal of her favorite food, don't you?  ;-)  (You may
find yourselves buried in sucessfully captured small prey.)
