At the TICA show in White Plains (NY), 9Lives spokescat Morris was presented
yesterday with the Westchester Feline Club's award for Cat of the Year, in
recognition of Morris and 9Lives promoting the Morris Million Cat Rescue
program. 9Lives also had a booth set up where for free you could come in and
have a Polaroid photo taken with Morris. Before going into the booth you had
to sanitize - they spritzed your hand with the cleaner - and you could pet
him too. He gave Kathi some headbutting and enjoyed my scritches. Pretty
cool to meet the latest Morris in-purrson ;)
Sat & watched some of the judging too. One adorable Bengal kitten was quite
active in his judging area cage. He kept reaching through the cage to bat
around the scoring card stand. Got to see some Toygers too - so adorable!
One girl let us pet her Toyger kitten - his coat was smooth as silk. Overall
a fun day at the show!
