Check out this story of two young men who put themselves way out to get two
tiny kittens out of a drain.  It does my heart good, especially when there
are so many stories about of animals mistreated by young people.

I think there are many more good people than bad in the world, it's nice
they make the news sometimes.

That's the trouble with the news these days (and one reason I don't watch or
read it very often) - the focus is always on the horrendous, not much good
or positive.  Kudos for these boys!  (Hope they took the kittens to the
vet!)

It said in the article that they are pretty determined to keep the babies
themselves:
"She (their mother) originally suggested to her children that they put the
kittens up for adoption. Her children hated that idea."

Yes, but it didn't say whether they'd had them to a vet to be checked for
worms or other parasites, etc.  That's all I meant.

That is one mom who should be VERY proud of her young men!

I'm so glad they were able to save the kittens and that they are keeping
them.
Best wishes,
