Two people I know are going into the hospital tomorrow for procedures
:-(
My friend Myrt has advanced inoperable lung cancer. Occasionally, it
causes tumors in her brain, and she has to have them lasered.
Tomorrow (Monday), she is going in to have another tumor lasered. She
says it makes her feel much worse for about a week before she feels
better.
And then my mother-in-law called late last night to tell us she was
going in on Monday also to have knee replacement surgery.
Both are cat people, but of course!
Any purrs are appreciated.

I'm late getting the purrs off, but am sending some for quick
recoveries and that the procedures went well.

Cat people or no, you can always count on the power of the purr from
this group. The kitty clan here will be purring away industriously
for good outcomes.

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful chorus of purrs. I won't know
how Myrt is doing for awhile (she said she feels much worse for a week
after, so I don't want to disturb her yet), but I'm sure she came
through fine. And my MIL did for sure. She elected not to have
general anesthesia, and talked the entire time ;-) They had some
problems finding the right pain meds for her, but appear to have
solved that problem. I'm sure she'll be very happy when she can
finally walk right again!
Thanks again, all :-)

Purrs for your friend and your MIL. I've had the knee replacement, so
have special purrs for her. Tell her to walk on it as soon as she can --
it will hurt, but each time she tries it, it will hurt less. MLB
