Oh no! I am so very very sorry to hear this. It's never right but young
makes it even worse. It can really come on quite suddenly. Remember my
Grant was only 8 and seemed healthy when he had a sudden illness and
had to be put to sleep on the operating table with advanced stomach
cancer. My heart just goes out to you because it is such a shock when
they are young. (((((((hugs))))))))

Profound & heartfelt condolences on losing Minke - it's so tough when they
go before their time (as my Peri did last year also aged 5).

It sounds like what Bandit died of, a brain tumor. I am so, so sorry for
your loss David - we're sending purrs to help ease your breaking heart and
I'll light a candle tonight to help Minke find his way to the Bridge.
Unfortunately for us, but fortunately for him, he'll find lots of friends
there waiting for him.

him at the bridge (we let him go on October 22nd). Maybe Zwinkie is
there as well. He left us due to reneal failure in May 2002, as Minke
only five years old.

It is not entirely clear whether Nanki Poo is missing him, but he
certainly keeps waking us up during the night and purring at us, or
smacking us in the face.

Just recently he has started going for walks late at night down the
road, as Pish used to do. On one occasion Minke came with us.
