When you give a human CPR you alternate the breathing with chest compressions. Obviously he couldn't press heavily down on a kitty chest. It's heartwarming to know that firefighters and EMTs are learning how to resuscitate pets as well as humans - people are *FINALLY* starting to realize that pets are family members too!
