then the next thing happens.(sigh) I had noticed during the last 4
weeks
that my Zorrolina has lost weight, but as she was slightly overweight
i.e. nicely rounded, I referred her loosing weight to all the stress
connected with Mohrchens after-surgery humdrum. Like closed cat-flap,
Mohrchen always on the couch instead of her, my mind always set on
Mohrchens
well-being and stuff like that. So I kept Zorro`s maybe-issue in my
mind but
there wasn`t much to inquire as she seemed to feel well.
Now - two days ago I noticed some brownish slobber around her mouth
and got
anxious. I watched her closely and noticed that she had really bad
breath and
sometimes had to swallow saliva, making a strange noise.
Now I sort of knew that there WAS something wrong.
This morning I observed her sitting in front of the food bowl, trying
to take
bites of catfood but she only took two tiny bites and then gave in.
Then I called the vet for an appointment.
They narcotized her and send me for an hour`s walk.
When I came back they told me that Zorro had a bad toothroot
inflammation.
That poor girl must have really bad pains the last days. They had
pulled this
tooth - one of the canines of the upper jaw. And her palate is
inflamed too,
that explains the hard swallowing.
Now I have another ill cat, getting over the anasthesia, here.
Good thing is - immediately after coming home she went to the kitchen
to eat
some catfood and lick some cream.
Again - my cats, as always, take their first trip, on still swaggering
legs,
directly to the food bowl. This might be a hint that in this
household
a good meal is always emphasized.
Well, well, now I am really broke. Hope October will be over soon.
On November 1st, Mercury stops being retrograde, which means that
things
will run a lot smoother again.
Nevertheless I will have to pay debts back for month now.

Lots of purrs for Zorrolina's recovery, it should be a lot quicker than
Mohrchen's. As for the debts, purrs that you win the lottery or some long
lost realative you've never heard of dies and leaves you a million euros.

OY! I know the pains in the pocket book from too many trips to the vet, but
in the long run your budget will recover and it's a blessing that Zorro will
too. Purrs heading your way for the swift recovery of both Zorro and your
wallet!

"Get well Soon" purrs for Zorrolina's (and your bank balance's) speedy
recovery.
Having just spent so much on Claudius & Raki's vaccinations & checkups, then
Bandit & Snowball's teeth and then Bandit's eyes, I can personally vouch for
the fact that the joy of a well and happy pet lingers for far longer than
the sadness of an empty bank account. Z will be lots and lots happier almost
right away and you'll love how much she seems to be enjoying life again :)

Purrs that Zorrolina will make a speedy recovery.
Sadly, we all know that having cats can mean having some big bills from
TED. Or perhaps I should say, sooner or later, and for some cats, on a
regular basis.
Purrs too that your kitties stay healthy.

It always seemed to happen like that for me too, when I had more pets than I
have now. No sooner did I get the vet paid than another animal would fall
sick. They would all be fine for months, even years, but if one got ill,
sure enough, another one would, just after that. Hence our English saying
"it never rains but it pours.."

Purrs for Zorro being sent, and also for your bank account to recover.
I have great faith in karma. If you do the right thing by your pets by
getting them treatment when they need it - even if it takes almost your last
penny - something will happen. Maybe you will get some money from an
unexpected source or you will suddenly realise a new way of saving money
that you never thought of before.
