The link has a great video of her. She is beautiful.
For almost four months a baby jaguar has gone by the name Baby, but on
Monday she finally received a name.
Brevard Zoo officials held an online contest to name the baby jaguar and the
winning name was Nindiri.
"In Nicaragua, there's a very large active volcano called Masaya, which is
where the mother got her name. There are several eruptive cones within that
volcano and one of them was Nindiri, so Nindiri is part of Masaya," said
April Winters, a zookeeper.
"There's just not that many in the zoos. There's only about 100, and there's
only 15 breeding pairs out of the 100. This birth is only the second birth
so far this year," Winters said.
You can see Nindiri at the Brevard Zoo.
