She may be alot bigger than a standard cat, she may woof rather than meow
and growl rather than purr, she may wave her tail when she's hapy rather
than when she's mad, she may have lost her Dignity somewhere, and she takes
up *far* more room on my bed than Shmogg, but she can nurse-cat just as well
as any other.

Fluffy reminded me to day, whilst I suffered with the evil stomach bug, that
she may look like a d-thing on the outside, that on the inside, her heart is
feline.

Bless her.

If you're paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many
pancakes can you fit in a doghouse? None, icecream doesn't have bones.

Go Fluffy! She's learned a lot from her mentor.

Ok, so I am a bit old and must have missed something along the way.  WHERE
did FLUFFFY come from?  There are so many threads about right now I had to
have missed somethin important.

Hehehe, you haven't missed anything. I just havent' written about Fluffy for
a while, and you are relatively new here :-). Fluffy is a 5 year old cross
between a border collie and Australian cattle dog. We got her when she was a
pup, and Shmogg immediately set to work to work 'training' her (which was
tough, as she doesnt' have two brain cells to rub together) . Fluffy spent
the first 5 years of her life giving Shmogg all the respect (and distance)
he demanded, and just like many other 'beta' cats that step up to the plate
when the alpha cat goes to Rainbow bridge, Fluffy has taken up Shmogg's role
as cheif Nurse Cat.

Whew thank Bast.  I really thought I had bought the farm on this one.  Glad
you have something to hold onto.  My dog Scooter raised all three of my
cats.  They sleep on their backs like her, they run to the door like her and
many other things.  She, on the other hand has developed some cat issues so
all in all, I will always have a combination of both.  How is you ear?

I think Fluffy is her Aussie Shepherd DOG (who apparently
thinks she's a cat).

I'm so glad Fluffy is taking such good care of you, Vicky. I hope you
are feeling better.
Lots of hugs and purrs,
Polonca and Soncek
