Went shopping today and got pet supplies including a new bag of food.
Imp came out to investigate and this is his thought pattern as he came
into the living room......

*sniffing*  Hmmm, that smells good.....It smells like........FOOD!!!

Hmmm, hey there's something next to my cube...  What is it ? Could it
be?  It's an ENTIRE bag of FOOD!!!  Wow!!!

Oh, I can smell it through the bag.......  It smells so deliicious I
just wanna take a bite............

(Starts crunching on the bag)

Me:  Imp!!  Stop it!!

(imp runs away)  Eeek!!  I've been discovered!!!

*sigh* I need to make sure I put this in the plastic tub soon.  Imp
loves it so much he will chomp a hole in the bag.  In the past when
I've bought smaller bags of food I've been foolish enough to leave
them out in the living room.  I'm then come out the next morning to a
bag covered in teeth marks and a big hole in the bag.

Cats........

Reminds me of the time I was feeding 13 ferals that roamed our condominium
grounds.  My son asked what I wanted  for Christmas and I said "cat food".
So for Christmas I got three 40lb bags of kibble cat food.  I stored it
on my front enclosed patio and fed  them on the back patio. About five
day later I went to the front area to get some food and all of the bags
had been ripped open and much of the food was gone.  That mush have been
one joyous kitty party.   MLB

I wish my two cats would love their food this much.  The food has to be
extra yummy before they will decide its edible.  I put it down to them being
outside a lot and catching birdies, mousies and young rats and therefore not
being hungry.

Years and years ago, before Shadow (RB) turned into a big fat lump,
he discovered a new bag of food on the kitchen counter. The next
morning I awoke to find food in the kitchen sink, on the floor, in
the water bowl, and two happy cats looking very guilty. I always knew
it was Shadow who broke the bag open, because when Shadow adopted me,
he started teaching Marley (RB) (who was always an angel) b*st*rd c*t
tr*cks, but this was way before Marley ever pulled one.

But he actually runs away. ;)  Stinky would need a fire hose, or
rubber bullets. ;)
