Little Boy protects me

I was getting ready to take my shower this morning, and Little Boy was
crying at me when I started to pull the shower curtain closed. As I stepped
in, he cried even louder.

I pulled the curtain closed all the way, and kept trying to reassure
Little Boy, whose meows were getting frantic.

I heard some rustling, on the end closest to the running water. I looked
down, and saw a pretty nose and a paw. He was reaching for me, so I held
his paw. In fact, I held that paw the entire time I showered. He stopped
crying, but he performed scores of "silent miaows" at me, until I finished
and opend the shower curtain.

Now, there in NO TELLING what evil might have befallen me, had I not held
his paw. There is no telling how MUCH CLEANER I might have been if I could
have used both hands to wash and shampoo.

There is also NO MEASURING the devotion of my sweet teddy bear, who braved
the Evil Running Water so he could protect me. I LOVE my little cuddly boy!

He has to protect you from all the water falling on you.

My that is extreme bravery! My cats just look at me like I'm a little
nuts and leave.

Normally, so does Little Boy. But something had him worried and set him
off this morning. Maybe I would had slipped without his help or maybe I'd
have been completely devoured by water greeblings - I don't know (big
grin). Whatever the problem, he saved me this time...

I have the opposite problem.  O. T. Mahoney  (O T stands for Orange thing)
is trying to learn to balance on the shower cutain bar.  I just know one of
these days he is going to stumble.  I keep putting him on the floor or
squirting him but that doesn't change what he wants to do.

What a brave kitty! That is the sweetest image. But you must be some
kind of contortionist to be able to shower and hold a cat's paw at the
same time.

You just have to shower while bent over, and have the soap within reach.
And afterwards, some Bengay for the stiff back (grin).
