I laid down to read, and Little Boy, being the teddy bear that he is,
jumped onthe bed, climbed up on my hip and settled in to a nice rumbly
purr session.
Little Feet, not to be outdone, joins me, and snuggles up to my chest.
He starts purring too.
I hear Bucky crying from the bathroom. He is standing on the toilet
seat, and looking my direction. He is telling me that I am NOT petting
him, and it makes him sad. So I call him, and he hurries in, and
starts rubbing his head on my "unused" hand.
Dulce Mae dashes into the room and bounces off the bed. She notices
that my pillow is not completely used, and fills up that corner.
I now have four purring cats within reach, and a good book at hand.
How could life get any better than that?
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Teach one of the cats to turn the pages?

Well don't do what I did last week. The three cats were sleepin on my bed
and I deamed someone called my name. I grabbed the covers, flipped them
back and jumped up all in one motion. I heard the most aweful racket you can
imagine. I turned on the light and eveyone was confused. I had, with the
sheet and blanket, thrown three sleeping cats onto a sleeping malimute dog.
As soon as they saw each other the hissing and barking stopped. However, I
spent the rest of the night alone!

LOL!! Never throw your cats onto a malamute dog. Didn't they teach you
that in cat school? :) Or dog school??
That would have made a great Youtube. :)

It was one of those things you can't do justice when describing. Cats
hissing, big dog barking, human half asleep wondering what the...happened.
Later I found the cats on the couch together, like there would be strength
in numbers and the dog laying across the room looking at them, bet wondering
"Now why did they do that".

Mark, I think I have it figured out: you were a mother cat in a
former life! And your cats all know this.

You be the recipient of Cat Gravity (see my earlier post if you are
unfamiliar with Cat Gravity). No use fighting it, you may as well
sleep while the gravity drains from your bed.
