Maybe it's the season

I don't know what it is.  It isn't like anything is specifically wrong,
or bad, or worse than normal.  But I just seem to want to curl up in bed
and do nothing half the time.  The other half, I am desperately trying
to get a few more things unpacked and put away, and it seems an endless
job.  Maybe it's the season.  There's always something about Fall that
makes me feel melancholy, and look backward with bittersweet memories.

Excuse me while I go find a cat to hug.

It sounds like the other side of the coin from spring fever.

Of course, moving and unpacking is enough to make anybody want to curl up in
bed.

And hope it will all unpack itself, while you sleep?  ;-)

Unless you're on anti-depressant medication, (IMHO, I'm not a doctor and
don't play one on TV) is a couple of St. Johns Wort capsules daily.  For
sleeping, I find a calming cup of Valeriana tea helps as do the capsules.
It's nice to float some chamomile tea bags in a nice hot bath for soothing
frayed nerves.  Lavender is also nice.  I have a natural lavender spray (a
concentrate mixed with spring water) that I spritz on my pillow.  Persia
loves it! :)

Funny, I never thought I'd be so into herbs (at least, not since the 1970's
heheh).  But they really do help!

Moving is ALWAYS an emotionally exhausting task!  (And of
course more so, the older we get.)  It ranks right up there
with a death in the family (or other major life-change) in
terms of triggering a bout of  clinical depression.
