This is my first time posting anything really so i hope you will enjoy
reading this story. If you want to you can post your thoughts about it
to me.
It was a glorous day for the dark, furry traveler who was wearing a
black boots and a small flowing cape. She started the day in the
Purrsong Tavern, getting a shot of hard milk and a bowl of tuna
salad, listening to the sounds of cats chattering, glass and mugs
thumping, the acational gusts of wind. She looked back at the bar
tender cat, who was cleaning a glass for the next user, and asked for
more fish salad. Ten minutes had passed when a black medium short hair
cats in a brown leather vest came in hollering "help, help, my ducks
are missing!" The dark furry traveler thumped down her empty glass and
said "I'll help you stranger." The black ranch smilled and purred
"thank you friend, you have no idea how much thins means to me." The
two cats walked to the ranch. The dark furry traveler looked over at
the black ranch cat, "I've seen this before. Do you have any ducks
here?" The rancher went into the barn and pulled out two millard
ducks to show the furry traveler. "These are the only two ducks I've
got after the raid." The dark traveler looked back to the empty corral
and said "go ahead and put one duck in the corral and we will hide
behind here," pointing to the wall at the side of the barn facing next
to the corral. "We will wait here until the duck bandit returns to
collect it and when he does go for it we bag him up. Go get a burlap
sack so we can catch this thief in action." Two hours had went by and
the bandit showed up at the corral with a fine cotton sack of his own.
"Oh, Tabby here is going to get it for sure. Shh follow me," said the
furry traveler. The two cats sneaked closed to the orange and white
tabby cat. When the duo got close to him, the dark furry traveler bag
the bandit. She lifted him up onto her sholders and carried him to the
shierrif's office. Then the Tabby told her and the sherrif where the
other ducks had been taken to. The sherif looked at the dark furry
traveler and said "what is your name stranger?" and she responed with
"name's QC, I came here to help those who can't help themselve that
much." She walked out of the sherrif's office and went in the
direction of where the ducks were held at. She rounded them up and
took them to Black's ranch. Black purred with happyness and said "my
name's Black and I want to thank you deeply for all that you did for
me."QC looked at black and said "no thank you, without your support I
don't know where I would have been." The next day QC went to the Inn
and stayed the night, then in the morning she gathered her things and
went on to the next town she can find on the map she purchased before
setting off on her next adventure.

Snipped for brevity and sanity sake. Sweetie, please allow me to be
the first to post to your first post. For those who don't know, my
daughter, aka "The Blonde Wench," Amanda, and Mandy posted this
story. It is her first posting to the group as she has been a little
shy and afraid that the group won't like her. Please applaud her
courage and attempt at telling what I consider a pretty good story.
Thankx

I did. I could visualise those cats, talking to each other -
looking just like characters from a Louis Wain painting. MORE!!!

I love the story, and I can see where your mom got her talent
from. ;o)
Would you mind if I printed it and read it to my young cousin? I
really think she would enjoy it as she's a cat slave in the making!
