Oh, how *weird*. When I clicked on the link earlier today, it went to a
completely different set of pictures. All pictures of people in different
parts of Africa, I swear!! :)
I saw the kitty this time. Also, I love the Pavarotti guy!

Dave has one brown eye and one blue but I don't think he's part Persian and
part Siamese!

I have blue eyes that are turning green (and not with envy, either!).
Does that
make me part cat?

I'm sure it does! :)
A former colleague of mine has one brown eye and one greyish-blue eye,
but no felines AFAIK... She normally wears glasses, so I hadn't noticed
her eyes that much - reflections from the glasses etc. But one time at
the company X-mas dinner she wasn't wearing her glasses, and I did a
double take... First I thought she'd played a joke on us with different
colour contacts, but she said no, they were that colour and to look her
in the eyes come work day. :)

It sounds like your eyes are beautiful, cat or not! :)
Joyce <--- favorite colors are in the blue-green family

My cousin Billy has what we variously call "David Bowie eyes" or "Siberian
husky eyes"-- one brown and one blue. He's blond, so it sticks out a lot.
All doesn't mean that there's no biological explanation for it.

The first descriptor is one you could actually sing - can you do a
good Kim Carnes? :)

Bowie's different coloured eye is a result of trauma someone threw a
dart in his eye (I think) when he was a kid rather than a genetic
matter

Bowie's eyes are both blue, but one pupil is permanenty dilated due to a
fight and makes that eye look darker. (according to Trivia about him on
IMDB.com)

I've heard of several people having eyes of different colours, and
have seen it in dogs too.

My highschool roommate and mismatched eyes. One brown and one part brown
and part green.
It is very common in dogs that might have blue eyes, such as husky's and
border collies and Australian Shepherds.
I'm sure blue eyed dogs are perfectly nice, but they give me the creeps.

I have no idea at all. Because for the most part I adore dogs. Unless of
course they give me a reason not to.
Maybe because the first blue eyes dogs I saw were Alaskan sled dogs, and
some of them are pretty near wild. (I'm not talking the professional dog
sled team dogs here)
After we moved here it was usually Australian Shepherds, and they were
usually standing guard in the back of someone's pickup truck. Pickup truck
guard dogs have a tendency to sleep unless someone walks too close to the
truck, at which point they stand up and scare the daylights out of you. Not
fun if you happen to be in the parking lot getting into your own car at the
time.
