No need to panic ;) I'm leaving town on 9/12. I'll be working with John at
the Riverssance Fine Arts show in Davenport next weekend. Fourth year in a
row I've helped there. It's a very nice show in a lovely park. Last year
it rained very lightly in the afternoons and was also very hot and humid.
So far it looks like we'll have clear skies and much cooler temps this year.
Yay!
Poor Persia will not only be going to the smelly place for a *week*, she's
going
to have her shots re-upped. At least, the ones required for boarding. Boy
is she going to be mad at me! But of course Peaches will be there, too, so
perhaps she can derive some solace from that.
Last year they told me when they were cleaning her kennel someone left the
door to the cat room ajar and she went in search of Peaches! She found her
in the grooming room, which is where they keep her. (Peaches loves the
sound of running water.) I was shocked and amazed she made that journey all
by herself. The back corridors in vet's office is like a labryinth!

Have a good trip, I hope John sells lots of paintings and that Persia soon
forgives you, I'm sure she will.

Sounds like fun, but not for poor Persia. Purrs all around!
