Suicidal Kitten!

Forget Samson and Goliath - think Samazon and Little Big Man (a kitten that
*must* be suicidal)!  Sammy is such a wuss, that she's the one to mew
"uncle" when Archer beats her up!  LOL!

I tried to keep this video short (15mb) for those with slower connections,
so I hope you can all see it - it's hilarious!  (I'm also going to try to
pull some still shots from it.)

Reminds me of Ka'shay  and her younger days daily attacks on Phantom and
Spirit

Rumble is the dominant cat of the house.  Ka"shay goes for Rumbles back legs
which Rumble can't stand   He goes nuts  and jumps straight up in the air
and retreats loudly telling us his displeasure of the situation.  He gets up
high and looks like a grumpy old man watching her from a distance.

LOL!  It's amazing how fast a tiny kitten can dominate every other cat in
the household!  ;>

I guess Sammy is still a kitten. :)  It doesn't seem too long ago that
she would play with Bandit.  She does get along well with the boys.  I
think that this is the kind of relationship that Buster would have
liked with Dot, but she's not the type that understands this kind of
play.

Rather a large one, but yes!  ;>

Yep, Bandit beat her up then.  Then Jessie beat her up.  Now Archer is
beating her up (do you see a pattern here? ;>)

> She does get along well with the boys.

She *LURVES* the boys.  She finds them endlessly entertaining.

Aw, they may end up with a really close relationship - if anyone can do it
you can Tak, I've never known a human being with more love or patience!

OK, here are some "stills" from the video below (sorry they're so blurry,

Two words, homicidal+muffin=kitten. I was thinking this during the
"Mean Kitty" video too. Kittens use cute as a survival skill ;o)

Too true - *ALL* babies, of any species, do (I know my bare kids probably
never would have made it to adulthood had they not been so darn cute!! ;>)

Poor Sammy!  For a grown lady to have to put up with such foolishness.
Please give her a skritchie from me.

"Put up with" - my left foot!!  Most of the time she *starts* it!  LOL!
She's still the infamous bane of the Mommy stories - she's gotten bigger,
but not better!  ;>

I didn't think she was minding being the object of Archers antics too much.
Must be kind of like watching sky diving with no parachute for her.

I've seen some good kitten moves over the years, but he is something else.

Nope, she's totally loving it - she's wanted to play like that ever since
she was a kitten, and since none of my other cats would indulge her she
inflicted me with her depredations!  ;>  Right now she is having the time of
her life.

That and the long tail equips him for acrobatics.  You can see him learning
to use it.

That is one bouncy kitten. Methinks he should have been named Tigger (if
there weren't already thousands of ginger cats named Tigger). :)

I know - I think that's why Ozzy weighs about .25 times more than he does.
Ozzy is much more laid back most of the time, but if Archer is awake, Archer
is terrorizing somebody or something!  ;>

AAwwwww, how neat is that!?  Brave little guy, but I see he does have help:
Ozzy looks poised to "tag team" her and his anti-gravity system is clearly
functioning at full efficiency (maybe Mr Data's Spot helped out with a bit
of tuning from the future).

Snowball acts the same when pestered by Claudius: he soon wails "enough
already!" but strangely he often heads back into Claws' face for a repeat
confrontation/scuffle. So I reckon the fluffier older types must be enjoying
it on the quiet :)

Long may the beneficial exercise continue, eh?

Ozzy never has joined in the attack on the Samazon yet - though I think he
definitely would if he thought his bro-fur really needed his help.  He is
very, *VERY* protective of his bro-fur, always licking his head and
comforting him when he isn't feeling well (Archer still gets bouts of dry
coughing - he had a really, really bad URI when we first got him and I think
it's still affecting his health a bit - we still give them their L-Lysine,
in fact we just upped the dosage a bit since they gained weight - but there
isn't really anything else we can do).

> and his anti-gravity system is clearly functioning at full efficiency

It is *SO* funny to see him flying through the air with his legs splayed out
to the four corners (although, as Ben pointed out, he *has* to stretch his
legs really, really wide if he is going for the "death hug" on the Samazon).

Yep, as I told Sam, she goes over and plants herself right in the middle of
the boys play and will reach out and swat at them a bit if they ignore her.
Then when Archer pounces on her she acts all put out, but she secretly loves
it - after all this time she's finally found someone to play with (Bandit
was too old and grouchy, Demi was too scared and hid all the time, and
Jessie was too domineering and would beat her up).

> Long may the beneficial exercise continue, eh?

I hope so!

If Sammy had sat on him he'd be in serious toruble- she must be about 5 times
bigger!

A Cyndi Lauper tune comes to mind....

Archer and Ozzy certainly must keep that in mind.  Those snippets of video I
posted were extracted from a four *HUGE* videos of Da Boyz running and
jumping and wrestling, and running and jumping and wrestlin (it got me worn
out just watching it - no need for me to ask where they put all the food
they devour each day!).  ;>

That's it exactly. I believe a study was done that found that the amount of
energy expended by a three-to-five-year-old was so enormous that an adult
trained to Olympian athlete standards of fitness could only manage a single
hour of said tots' day. I'd guess kittens are in the same class, only in
Spades :)
