Got home from the SF Bay Area yesterday around 5 pm.

I walked up to my apartment and within three steps of the door, I
heard a meow.

Mischief was in the kitchen window and she had immediately recognized
me.  She started to voice her disapproval of my week and a half
absence.

"YOU!!  WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG YOU'VE
BEEN GONE?? OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!!!"

So i opened the door.  Ah, home sweet home.  I took a deep breath.

And gagged at the smell of cat pee.  I look down and at my feet is a
dishrag, and boy did it reek.

Well, wasn't planning on doing this after walking in the door, but I
cleaned all the litterboxes for them.  I topped off all the water
dishes, but started laughing when i found the bag of food.

Normally i keep the bag of food off the ground like on top of a
container, etc.  Well, i forgot to remind the old roommate of that.

The bag had a hole chewed in the bottom.  Had to have been done by
Imp, along with peeing on the dishrag.

After unpacking a small amount, i then took a MUCH needed bath.

Of course as soon as I got out of the bath and opened the door.
Mayhem was right there complaining and protesting.  She then jumped on
the bed, rolled on her back and demanded that I settle up for the week
and a half's tummy rubs she had been depreived of.

So I went from playa dust to cat fur.  nice.....

Mischief and Mayhem have been fighting for attention, especially when
i'm trying to sleep, since i'm exhausted.

ugh, ok another wave of sleep is comnig over me, so i'm going to crash
out again.

Well, pee smell and all, isn't it nice to get a good reception when you
come back from a long trip?

But didn't your roommate find it unpleasant to live with an unscooped
litter box?? I mean, cleaning it occasionally wouldn't have just been
a nice thing to do for YOU or for the CATS, but for HERSELF as well...
I would think...

Did you get pictures of your installation/art project/whatever you did?
I'd love to see it.
