As you all know. cats are fascinated by the toilet. At least mine are.
They never seem to make the connection about the big container of
water, and its use, though.
Well, we tend to keep one side of the stainless steel sink filled with
water, for the cats to drink from (as well as the many water dishes
around the house...). For the last two days, I have seen that
*someone* has taken a dump in the sink.
No indications of who. Until this morning.
Dulce Mae climbed in the sink, leaned back, and peed in the sink
(heavy sigh!) with me standing right there.
Okay, I'm thinking she has made the connection that large objects full
of water are toilets, but not that there is ONE toilet that is proper
for use.
We have had a talk. Or two.

Ohh, Poor Mark. Maybe she's trying to tell you she doesn't want to
share a littlerbox with the boys any longer. There are more of them
than her. Good luck talking to her.

Thanks for the laughs, Mark. Maybe it would be good to have dry sinks
for awhile.

Fin used to take his dumps in the bathtub, or pee in the sink, but
only when I was
around to see it. That was his way of saying, 'Clean the litter box,
you worthless slave!'
I usually got the message. It was definitely easier to clean up in the
tub, so
I appreciated his thoughtfulness.

I shouldn't laugh, but I can't help myself.
Ahem. Purrs that she gets the full understanding -- and soon.
