I always read at least the first post in every thread, and we all purr and
pray here when right to do so, but my server burped or something so we are
extending blanket purrs to everyone so nothing gets missed, Lee

Something strange is going on with Individual.net - I'm seeing posts in
google groups that aren't showing up here (usually it's just the opposite
because google takes so long to distribute a post).

I don't know if it's the same issue, but another group I read regularly
(alt.syadmin.recovery) is having a lot of messages (maybe 30% of new
messages) deleted. I don't know if it's admin filtering (the thread in
question in ASR has been discussing anti-semitism and has caused a few
tempers to flare), or if the server is having issues.

You might consider reporting this to news.individual.net.  On the one
occasion I had a problem with them they were really helpful.  They would
welcome knowing about this.  As I use n i n as my news server I haven't been
aware of missing posts, obviously.
