Thanks for all the purrs and purrayers! Dwen is at my regular vets
right now, and my vet is thinking she has pylonephritis (sp?), or
Addisons disease. She say she has never seen Addisons in a cat, and
she has been a vet for 12 years now.
Dwen was doing ok, but still not up to par. Her temp was 99.6F, and
she is having problems regulating her electrolytes. They are going to
keep her on IV fluids and run some tests that the E-clinic didn't do.
So, fingers and paws are crossed that she has something treatable and
is able to come home soon.
I will let you know how she is doing later today.

Please do!
I've never heard of a cat with Addison's either, but I had a dog with the
disease a few years back. With regular steroid treatments she lived a
happy, healthy life.

Not come across these so no idea of the implications, but me and my gang are
purring like mad for a positive outcome.
Hardly the best birthday so far, but here's hoping it (and Dwen) improve
rapidly.

I'm glad she's doing better. The purrs will continue.
That is a very low temperature for a cat! I hope they can get her adjusted
soon.
