I was lying on the bed reading this morning. Near my head were Little
Feet and Dulce Mae. On each side of me were Little Boy and Bucky.
Buster was inthe living room trying to steal Senyah's bacon.
So I'm petting the cats, and singing to them:
"Pretty kitty cats, sweetie kittie cats. Cats are where it's at, where
it's at"
and other silly lyrics.
Then I notice that all four cats are purring. Dulce Mae and Little
Feet purred softly, while Little Boy and Bucky provided deep rumbly
purrs. If that's not a good reason to sing, I don't know what is.
Senyah says Buster didn't manage to steal any bacon, so I gave him a
whole slice of his own later (evil grin).
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

The only time I get to hear three part harmony is when it's feeding
time. Then it's meows in unison until the kibble hits the bowls.
Your four part sounds more relaxin'.

LOL, yes, I get that every day, too. The All-Feline Cacophony Chorus.
Last night, all 3 of them slept on my bed. That's not unusual, but
what *was* unusual was that Licky slept closest to me! He was cuddled
up right next to me. It think it's because I petted him for a very
long time just before going to bed, until he was in total kitty ecstasy.
So he was just trying to prolong the pleasure, I think.

That's a great reason to sing! Persia is a bacon thief. And a cornbread
thief. And a biscuit thief. You name it, she'll steal it (given half a
chance).
