There was some pretty massive flooding last night. Minnesota, Wisocnsin and Oklahoma. People check in!!!!! Sherry? Steve? > There was some pretty massive flooding last night. Minnesota, Wisocnsin > and Oklahoma. People check in!!!!! Sherry? Steve? We got 5.25 inches of rain, but we live on a hill, and this area isn't particularly flood-prone anyway. Where Steve lives *is* flood-prone because of a particular creek that runs through town. I really haven't heard about any major flooding in that town, most of it seems to be north & west of them. They've opened Red Cross shelters tonight, since the smaller creeks and streams aren't expected to crest until morning. It's a really serious situation in many other areas though. :-( I think there have been three deaths so far. One woman drowned in her cellar. Probably because there were some tornado warnings around.
